PGPD District II Celebrates Grand Opening of New Community Resource Center

Prince George's County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District II Station celebrated the grand opening of a brand new Community Resource Center located at the Fairwood Shopping Center in Bowie.

District II’s C.O.P.S. officers, representatives from the Buckman Road Associates, local community and civic leaders gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony announcing the grand opening of the new facility. The Community Resource Center will provide an opportunity for police and residents of the Fairwood Community to gather and discuss neighborhood issues. “The Fairwood Community is a model area to have the Community Resource Center. The venue will provide us with an opportunity to establish strong bonds with the residents of this fine community,” said Major Christopher Cotillo.
