District IV to Kick Off Glassmanor Reading Recovery Program

Prince George’s County, Maryland…Prince George’s County Police Department’s District IV Station officers met with community members yesterday to discuss the upcoming Glassmanor Reading Recovery Program scheduled to begin next week. During the meeting community members volunteered their time and services to assist with the program. The program will target 30 first and second graders from Glassmanor Elementary School and is designed to strengthen reading and phonics skills before the 2011-2012 school year.
