Prince George’s County Police Department Holds Promotional Ceremony

        Prince George’s County, Maryland…Prince George’s County Interim Police Chief Mark A. Magaw and County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III proudly recognized and congratulated newly promoted officers and civilians within the police department.
           
        The promotion ceremony was held on Tuesday, May the 31st at Charles H. Flowers High School.  Those promoted included 1 Major, 6 Captains, 15 Lieutenants, 33 Sergeants, 71 Corporals, 79 Police Officer First Class and 11 civilians.

          “It’s an honor to be here to congratulate each one of you.  Your daily efforts are an integral part of protecting Prince George’s County.  It is your service and dedication that gets the job done”, said Interim Chief Magaw.
