Police Help Reunite Dog with Owners


Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District III Investigative Section reunites dog with his owners.
On January 20, 2012, at approximately 10:00 a.m., detectives received a call from the victim who said he was contacted by a “Good Samaritan” that said they found their dog, Cody.  Detectives met with the victim and the “Good Samaritan” at a neutral location where Cody was reunited with his family.
On December 12, 2011, the victim left his dog inside of his vehicle in the 6500 block of Sheriff Road.  When the victim returned to his vehicle, he found it had been stolen with the dog still inside.  The vehicle was recovered a short time later at a nearby location, but without the dog.  The investigation into the theft of the vehicle is still ongoing.
