PGPD Obtains Arrest Warrant for Suspect in Connection of Sexual Solicitation of a Minor

Rashon Levante Dickason

The Prince George’s County Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for a Laurel man for the sexual solicitation of a minor.  The suspect is identified as 22 year-old Rashon Levante Dickason, formerly of the 12000 block of Mount Pleasant Drive.

On December 26, 2012, police officers were called to the 8700 block of Oxwell Lane in Laurel for the report of a person soliciting sexual acts from a minor.  Upon arrival, police officers were told by the teenage victim’s father that Dickason solicited his son for sexual acts between July and December of 2012.

U.S. Marine Corps Military Police took Dickason into custody on January 30, 2013. Dickason is currently stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.  Dickason admitted to soliciting the minor during an interview with Prince George’s County police detectives.  Detectives believe Dickason may have solicited other minors as well.  Anyone who has had such contact with Dickason is urged to call the Prince George’s County Police.

Dickason remains in custody at Camp Lejeune.  He is awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.  The date of the extradition is pending.

Anyone who has information on this case or on Dickason is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s R.I.D.
