PGPD Investigates Murder of Michael Brown


The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Seat Pleasant. The victim is identified as 23-year-old Michael Nolan Brown of the 600 block of Cabin Branch Drive in Seat Pleasant.

On May 14, 2013, at approximately 10:30 pm, patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Cabin Branch Drive for a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found Brown unresponsive inside his home. He was pronounced dead on scene.

The preliminary investigation suggests multiple suspects entered the home at gunpoint and demanded money. A confrontation ensued, during which Brown was fatally shot.
