Team PGPD to Race for the Cure

Many of us know and love someone who has or is now bravely battling breast cancer. It’s a disease that does not discriminate. It impacts women and men of all ages. That’s why members of the Prince George’s County Police Department are partnering with the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure. We’ve formed Team PGPD and will proudly lace up for the Race for the Cure on Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Washington, D.C.

Team PGPD members have dedicated their time over the last few months fundraising for this important event and the effort is paying off!  Team PGPD will be recognized at the event for being the top fundraising team in the local government category.

There is still time to join the effort.   Please consider joining Team PGPD and run or walk with us. To register with Team PGPD, click the register button and enter the team’s name. We also urge you to invite your family and friends to support Team PGPD. Children also have a special place in the Race for the Cure and can register for their own short walk.
