PGPD Shuts Down Clinton Business

The Prince George’s County Police Department issued a violation notice to the owners of Cityfied Rides Detail Shop ordering the business closed on June 12, 2013.

Cityfied Rides is located in the 7700 block of Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton. The business has been operating without the required use and occupancy permit.

The business was also the scene of a recent double stabbing.
On June 8, 2013, at approximately 11:50 pm, patrol officers responded to the 7700 block of Old Alexandria Ferry Road for the report of a stabbing in the parking lot.

The preliminary investigation reveals a large crowd was attending a party inside the business.  Detectives believe an argument between party attendees spilled outside into the parking lot.  As the crowd dispersed, two men were stabbed in separate incidents.  The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Cityfied Rides will remain closed pending the outcome of an appeals hearing.

Anyone who has information about the stabbings is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Regional Investigation Division-Southern Region at 301-390-2160.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), text “PGPD plus your message” to CRIMES (274637) on your cell phone or go to http://www.pgpolice.org and submit a tip online.
