PGPD Observing 30th Annual “National Night Out”

Prince George’s County Police Chief Mark Magaw and members of the department will join county leaders and neighborhood civic groups for the 30th Annual “National Night Out.”

On Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm, county residents are asked to turn on their exterior lights and spend the evening outdoors with their neighbors.  Events will be taking place in our six police districts and throughout Prince George’s County.  Chief Magaw will stop by several of the events including in Suitland and Temple Hills.

“National Night Out” is a unique crime/drug prevention event that is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. The annual event is designed to strengthen communities by building stronger relationships between neighbors and their local law enforcement partners.
