PGPD Targets Drunk Drivers This Weekend

Drinking this weekend?  Don’t let us drive you to jail.

Every three days a drunk driver kills someone in Maryland.  The Prince George’s County Police Department is partnering with law enforcement agencies across the state to send the message that drunk or impaired driving will not be tolerated.

As part of Project SOLO- Saving Our Loved Ones, Prince George’s County police officers will target drunk or impaired drivers on Friday night, October 24, 2013. The enforcement hours run from 9:00 pm – 3:00 am.  Project SOLO will also be in effect this Saturday night.  Police officers will saturate the Fort Washington/Oxon Hill areas, focusing on Oxon Hill Road, Allentown Road and along the Maryland 210 corridor.
