PGPD Investigates Murder in Langley Park


Updated September 4, 2014: The victim is identified as 32-year-old Miguel Angel Barillas, of 15th Avenue in Langley Park.  Detectives are continuing to work to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.  A cash reward of up to $25,000 is available for information which leads to an arrest.  Please call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Langley Park. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On September 3, 2014, at about 4:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 8000 block of 15th Avenue for an unresponsive man in the street. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from trauma to the upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
