PGPD Investigates Fatal Crash in Brandywine

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in Brandywine. The victim is 33-year-old Adrean Austin of Brandywine Road in Hughesville. 

On March 20, 2015, at about 5:10 pm, patrol officers were called to the 15300 block of Brandywine Road for the report of a crash. When they arrived, they found Austin suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The preliminary investigation reveals Austin was heading northbound on Brandywine Road when he lost control while on a curve. His car crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic and struck an SUV. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
