PGPD Investigates Homicide in Capitol Heights


Update: Detectives will pass out Crime Solvers flyers seeking information in this investigation this evening. The canvass is set to begin at 7:00 pm in the 5100 block of Southern Avenue at Gunther Street.





The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Capitol Heights. The victim is 22-year-old Davonn Terrell Fogg of F Street in Southeast Washington. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On June 7, 2015, at about 9:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the Capitol Heights Metro Station. When they arrived, they found Fogg suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

The investigation revealed Fogg had been shot in a car in the 5100 block of Southern Avenue. After the shooting, Fogg was driven to the Metro station to meet with paramedics. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. Investigators are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
