PGPD Investigates Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Landover


The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision and Analysis Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision in Landover. The victim is 50-year-old Anthony Plummer of Joyceton Drive in Upper Marlboro.

On August 15, 2015, at about 9:30 am, patrol officers responded to the intersection of Martin Luther King Junior Highway and Goodland Drive for the report of a motorcycle crash. When they arrived, they found Plummer suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals Plummer was on a motorcycle heading westbound on Martin Luther King Junior Highway. A car heading east turned left in front of Plummer causing him to collide with the car. The car’s driver was not hurt.
