PGPD Investigates Homicide in Hillcrest Heights

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Hillcrest Heights. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. The victim is 60-year-old Kevin Jerome Johnson of 23rd Parkway in Hillcrest Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case. 



On October 5, 2015, at about 3:00 am, patrol officers responded to the 3900 block of 23rd Parkway for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Johnson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Preliminarily detectives believe this homicide is drug related.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case.
