PGPD Investigates Fatal Crash in Capitol Heights

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in Capitol Heights. The victim is 56-year-old Robert Williams Jr. of Brand Court in Clinton.

On November 26, 2015, at about 4:45 am, patrol officers responded to the intersection of Walker Mill Road and Silver Hill Road for a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV. Officers found Williams in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals Williams was heading northbound on Walker Mill Road. For reasons which are under investigation, he lost control on a right curve, struck a curb and rolled over.
