PGPD Investigates Homicide in Springdale

 
Update November 11, 2015: Our Homicide Unit will be conducting a neighborhood canvass this evening in the 3700 Block of Ladova Way at 5:00 pm. Detectives will be passing out crime solvers flyers in this area. Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to please call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Tipsters never have to give their name and could be eligible for a reward of up to $25,000.
 

Bernard Parker
 

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Springdale. The victim is 59-year-old Bernard Parker of Utica Place in Springdale. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On November 10, 2015, at about 1:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3700 block of Ladova Way for the report of a crash involving a single car. When they arrived, they found the car. The driver, Parker, had already been taken the hospital. Investigators quickly determined Parker had been shot inside of his car prior to the crash. Parker died of his injuries just after 10:00 pm. 

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and a motive in this case.
