PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Capitol Heights

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Capitol Heights. The victim is 28-year-old Everett Corley of Logwood Road in Capitol Heights.

On November 12th, around 7:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 8000 block of Walker Mill Road for a crash involving two vehicles. Officers found Corley suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The preliminary investigation reveals Corley was traveling southbound on Walker Mill Road when another vehicle pulled out of a parking lot and into the Corley’s path. The second driver suffered minor injuries. She stayed on the scene.
