Detectives Investigate Residential Robbery in Lanham

Detectives with the Robbery Unit are working to find and arrest the suspects who forced their way into a home early this morning in Lanham. No one was hurt during this incident. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

At about 12:50 am, several suspects forced their way into a home in the 9400 block of Franklin Street. The suspects initially identified themselves as police officers. Once inside, the suspects, who were dressed in hoodies, made several demands of the two victims. The suspects stole several items and then ran from the home.  At least two of the suspects had handguns.

Anyone with information on the identities of these suspects is asked to call 301-772-4905.
