PGPD Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash in District Heights

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle. The operator of the motorcycle, 31-year-old Dennis Davidson of Pennsylvania Avenue in District Heights, was killed in the collision.

The crash occurred on Tuesday, July 12, 2017, at 1:15 pm, in the 6600  block of Hilmar Drive in District Heights.

The preliminary investigation reveals Davidson was heading southbound on Hilmar Drive when, for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and entered the northbound lane of Hilmar Drive and struck a parked car.   Davidson was taken to Prince George’s County Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.  No other individuals were injured in the collision.
