Detectives Investigating Racist Pamphlets Found In Neighborhood

Prince George’s County Police Detectives are investigating a number of hate pamphlets found scattered around a rural Upper Marlboro neighborhood.

On November 11th, a resident who was walking in the 17000 block of Claggett Landing Road found nine “Loyal Knights of the Ku Klux Klan” propaganda leaflets left in residential driveways.  The citizen immediately collected the hate literature and called 911.

Patrol officers arrived on scene, conducted a neighborhood canvass, and found almost thirty more identical pamphlets.

We are aware of similar incidents outside of our jurisdiction and have assigned the case to our Regional Investigations Division.

If you have information that could assist in this investigation, they are asked to please call detectives at 301-772-4911.
