PGPD Identify Victim of Homicide in Oxon Hill

Update August 29, 2023: The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Chuck Deonte Jenkins of no fixed address.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide this weekend in Oxon Hill. Investigators are working to confirm the identity of the victim so his family can be notified.

On August 27, 2023, at approximately 3:30 am, officers responded to the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway for a welfare check. The decedent was located outside suffering from trauma and pronounced deceased on the scene. An autopsy will confirm his cause of death.


Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
