Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning. The victim is 31-year-old Duane Glenn of District Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On September 21, 2024, at approximately 1:05 am, officers
responded to the report of a shooting in the 400 block of Xenia Avenue in the
unincorporated section of Capitol Heights. Once on scene, they located Glenn
outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was
pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and
identify a suspect(s).
