PGPD honored by the Town Fairmount Heights
The Town of Fairmount Heights recognized the efforts of the Prince George's County Police Department tonight, in a ceremony at Town Hall, for their efforts in a six month initiative to halt prostitution along Eastern Avenue. Police Chief Mark A. Magaw, District III Commander Major George Nader, District III Assistant Commander Raphael Grant, and 8 other officers, were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for combating prostitution in Fairmount Heights by the Town Council. The initiative, which began in June of this year, netted over 30 arrests for prostitution.
