17 year-old Brandon Lee WIGGINS of Capitol
Heights
killed during a gun battle with another
armed gunman in an apartment complex parking lot.
Potentially a drug related robbery or
dispute of some sort.
We have identified the shooter and
anticipate closing this investigation shortly.
(2) SATURDAY, March 31st at 1:21 AM
2000 block of WOODBERRY STREET in LEWISDALE
19 year-old Lester Flores QUINTANILLA of
Alexandria, Virginia
shot and killed during a possible robbery
attempt while walking with 2 other males in a residential community.
Suspects are described only as 2 males
armed with handguns.
Our victim is affiliated with the gang
MS-13.
This investigation remains ACTIVE.
(3) SATURDAY, March 31st at 7:18 PM
3500 block of TERRACE DRIVE in SUITLAND
25 year-old Ashley McCLURKIN of Suitland
shot & killed by 24 year-old Audrea BLACKWELL of the 700 block of Fairlawn Street, Temple
Hills inside of McClurkin’s apartment.
Audrea Blackwell was arrested on Sunday.

The shooting stemmed from a DOMESTIC DISPUTE.
(4) SUNDAY, April 1st at 4:25 AM
4100 block of DANVILLE ROAD in ACCOKEEK
83 year-old Dorothy OGDEN was shot and killed in her single-family
residence by her granddaughter, 32 year-old Cristalina WARNER of the 4100 block
of Danville Road.
They lived in the home together.
The shooting stemmed from a DOMESTIC DISPUTE.
Cristalina Warner was arrested on Sunday.

(5) SUNDAY, April 1st at 8:19 AM
2700 block of JUDITH AVENUE in DISTRICT
HEIGHTS
21 year-old David SHAW of Forestville
produced a handgun and announced a robbery at a residential home occupied by 6
persons. Shaw and the victims are all
known to each other.
SHAW then shot one of the male robbery
victims in the leg, prompting another male robbery victim to jump him in an
effort to wrestle the gun away.
The gun is eventually taken from SHAW
during the struggle.
The now armed robbery victim next SHOOTS
& KILLS SHAW.
Homicide detectives and the State’s
Attorney’s Office will review the circumstances to determine if the shooting is
a JUSTIFIED ACT OF SELF-DEFENSE.

The shooter has been identified and we
anticipate an ARREST soon.
SUNDAY at 11:31 AM
2500 block of AFTON Street in HILLCREST HEIGHTS
SHOOTING/ ROBBERY ATTEMPT.
Non-life threatening injuries.
No one in custody. Active investigation
We anticipate an arrest soon.
