PGPD Participates in 9/11 Ride

    

PGPD Motors Unit with local police agencies for the 2012 Torch Run

     The Prince George's County Police Department’s Motors Unit will participate in the 12th Annual America’s 9/11 Ride. Our officers will join other law enforcement agencies across the country in this two-day event (August 17-19) where they will travel to each of the 9/11 crash sites: Somerset, Pennsylvania; the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia; and the World Trade Center in New York City, New York.

     The 9/11 Ride is sponsored by America’s 9 11 Foundation, Inc. Its purpose is to support our first responders, and to remember events of September 11, 2001.
