PGPD Investigates Crash in Fort Washington



The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a crash involving a car and a van.

On October 9, 2013, shortly after 5:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 11000 block of Old Fort Road in Fort Washington for the report of a collision.  Upon their arrival, the patrol officers discovered the crash involved a car and a Prince George's County passenger van. 

The preliminary investigation reveals the car was heading northbound on Old Fort Road when for an unknown reason it crossed the center line and collided head-on with the van.  A child inside the car was critically hurt.  The two adult passengers in the car were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The van's driver and single passenger were also taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
