PGPD to Join Aggressive Driving Enforcement Campaign This Week

Running a red light, tailgating, speeding. All are forms of aggressive driving that can cause serious injuries or worse. We’re joining law enforcement partners across the state to crack down on these types of dangerous driving. Drivers who are caught face a $370 fine and five points on their license.

On Tuesday, details of the enforcement program, Smooth Operator, will be revealed at an event at the National Harbor. The PGPD will offer enforcement ride-along opportunities for members of the media following the event.
