The Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a
man in Langley Park. The victim is 33-year-old Marvin Diaz-Marin of Jasmine
Terrace in Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for
information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
At about 5:00 pm on July 27th, patrol officers were called to the
2000 block of University Boulevard to check on the welfare of a man. Officers
found the victim suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead at
the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a motive and the suspect(s).
