Update - November 3, 2021: The second deceased driver has been identified as 34-year-old Bennie Harrington Jr. of Clinton.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a double fatal collision that occurred late Wednesday night in Camp Springs. The drivers of the two involved cars were killed. The first deceased driver has been identified as 52-year-old Leona Flint of District Heights. The name of the second driver will be released once his identity is confirmed and his family has been notified.
On October 27, 2021, at approximately 11:45 pm, officers responded to Allentown Road near Leon Street for a collision involving two cars. Both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene. There were no other occupants in either car.
The preliminary investigation revealed the unidentified driver was heading westbound on Allentown Road approaching Leon Street, for reasons that remain under investigation, he entered the eastbound lanes traveling in the wrong direction. His car crashed head-on into Flint’s car.

PGPD Investiga Mortal Choque en Camp Springs que
deja Dos Muertos
La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Choques del Departamento de la Policía del Condado de Prince George’s investiga un mortal choque que se registró tarde en la noche del miércoles en Camp Springs, dejando a dos personas muertas. Los conductores de ambos vehículos involucrados murieron. La primera conductora fenecida fue identificada como Leona Flint, de 52 años y vecina de District Heights. El nombre del segundo conductor será divulgado una vez logremos confirmar su identidad y notificar a sus familiares.
El 27 de octubre de 2021, a eso de las 11:45 pm, oficiales acudieron al área de Allentown Road, cerca de Leon Street, para atender un choque entre dos vehículos. A ambos conductores les declararon muertos en la escena. No había otros pasajeros en ninguno de los vehículos.
La investigación preliminar reveló que el conductor no-identificado viajaba en dirección oeste sobre Allentown Road, aproximándose a Leon Street cuando, por razones que permanecen bajo investigación, invadió los carriles de la dirección contraria. Su vehículo se estrelló de frente con el de Flint.
