PGPD Aviation Unit Finishes 3rd Place in the 2011 FLIR Vision Awards





The Prince George's County Police Department's Aviation Unit finished 3rd place in the 2011 FLIR Vision Awards.  The FLIR Vision Awards are presented annually to the airborne teams with the best video footage.

The video captured a suspect breaking into a home in the Hillcrest Heights area.  Utilizing the FLIR system, the Aviation Unit's assistance led to the suspect's arrest :
