Police Make Quick Arrest in Homicide in District Heights



Prince George’s County Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested 55 year-old Samuel Ulysees Wilson in connection with the murder of his brother, 52 year-old Chappell Wilson, which occurred yesterday morning in District Heights, Maryland.   


On December 31, 2011 at approximately , patrol officers responded to a residence in the 3800 block of Walters Lane to check on the welfare of one of the occupants.  When the officers arrived, they discovered an unresponsive male in the residence with trauma to the body.  The victim, Chappell Wilson of the 3800 block of Walters Lane, was pronounced deceased on the scene. 


Detectives quickly identified the victim’s brother, Samuel Ulysees Wilson, as a suspect.  He was located a short time later and taken into custody.  Samuel Ulysees Wilson has been charged with first degree murder and remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on a no bond status.
