PGPD Investigates College Park Robbery


The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in College Park.

On February 8, 2013, around 11:20 pm, police officers responded to the intersection of Rhode Island Avenue and Lakeland Road for the report of an armed robbery.  The preliminary investigation reveals two suspects approached two University of Maryland students as they walked down Lakeland Road.  The suspects pulled out handguns, robbed the victims, then ran away.

The two suspects are described as black males wearing dark clothing.  One of the suspects wore a black half mask.
