PGPD Seeks Community’s Assistance in Identifying Package Thieves Linked to 15 Cases

Our Regional Investigation Division is actively working to identify and arrest the two suspects who are now linked to 15 package thefts in our county. The suspects are primarily targeting neighborhoods in Upper Marlboro. These thefts took place between October 18^th and the 22^nd and several were recorded on home surveillance systems.

The suspects are committing the thefts during the day when many victims are away from their homes. They are driving a dark gray Infiniti QX 60 SUV with Maryland tags 3CX3353.

“We strongly believe someone knows the names of these suspects. There are clear pictures and videos of them committing their crimes. We encourage anyone with information that can help our detectives to please call us. You can stay anonymous. We want to arrest these two suspects before they target more of our neighbors,” said Major Sunny Mrotek, Commander of the Regional Investigation Division.

As we continue our work to stop these suspects, we are offering these suggestions to help prevent these types of thefts:

*If possible, pick up the ordered item at the store

*Ship the item to your workplace

*Have a neighbor keep an eye out for the item if you know you won’t be home during the delivery window

*Have the item sent to a friend or family member who is home during normal delivery hours

*If possible, ship the item to an Amazon Locker, UPS Office, FedEx Office or Post Office

*Require a signature at the time of delivery

PGPD Busca Ayuda de la Comunidad para Identificar a Ladrones de Paquetes Conectados a 15 Casos

Nuestra División de Investigaciones Regionales se encuentra trabajando activamente para identificar y arrestar a dos sospechosos a quienes ahora conectamos con 15 robos de paquetes a lo largo del condado. Los robos ocurrieron entre el 18 y el 22 de octubre, y varios fueron captados por sistemas de vigilancia de algunos hogares.

Los sospechosos han estado robando paquetes durante el día, mientras muchas de las víctimas se encuentran fuera de sus hogares. Éstos conducen una SUV marca Infiniti, modelo QX60, color gris oscuro, con las siguientes tablillas de Maryland: 3CX3353.
