14 Military Veterans Among Graduates of Session 126

The Prince George’s County Police Department is proud to announce the graduation of 41 recruits from the Prince George's County Police Department's Training Academy. Of those graduates, 34 will join us here at the PGPD. Of the remaining seven, four will join the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office,
two will become members of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police – Prince George’s County Division and one will become a fire investigator with the Prince George’s County Fire Department.

We’re also proud that among the graduates, 14 are military veterans. The oldest graduate is 42 years old, the youngest is 21. There are two family connections as well. One of the graduates is the brother of a current PGPD officer and one is the son of a retired PGPD officer.

We’re looking forward to officially welcoming them all to the PGPD family this evening.
