Updated on April 30, 2013: The victim is identified as 35-year-old Nick Charles Boddie of the 3800 block of Regency Parkway Ct in Suitland.
The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Suitland.
On April 29, 2013, at approximately 2:20 pm, patrol officers responded to Branch Avenue and Southern Avenue for a single vehicle traffic accident. Upon arrival, patrol officers found a man suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the stabbing occurred in the 3800 block of Regency Park Court. The preliminary investigation suggests the victim was stabbed during a confrontation with one or more suspects who entered his residence.
A friend was attempting to drive the victim to a hospital when the traffic accident occurred. Detectives are working to establish suspect(s) and motive.
