The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal car crash in Chillum. The victim is 75-year-old Christine Ali of Channing Street in Northeast Washington.
On January 8, 2015, at about 6:30 pm, patrol officers responded to the intersection of Carson Circle near LaSalle Road for the report of a crash involving one car. Ali was the driver and only occupant. She was taken to a hospital where she died of her injuries on January 27, 2015.
The preliminary investigation suggests Ali was driving on Carson Circle when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the car and struck a tree.
