The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Suitland. The victim is 52-year-old Timothy Devine of Lynn Court in Alexandria.
On July 17, 2015, at about 4:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the intersection of Suitland Road and Arnold Road for a collision involving a pedestrian. When they arrived, the officers found Devine in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. He died of those injuries on July 23, 2015.
The preliminary investigation reveals a car heading westbound on Suitland Road struck the victim who was crossing the street. He was not in a crosswalk at the time. The driver remained on the scene.
