WANTED WEDNESDAY


Package Theft Caught on Surveillance Camera


We’re starting Wanted Wednesday with video of a supect wanted for stealing a package off the front porch of a home in Beltsville. Please watch as the suspect walks up to the door, looks around and then grabs the package. We’re asking our community to assist us in identifying this suspected thief. The theft occurred on November 17th at a home on Cherry Hill Court. Please call 301-937-0910 with any information on his identity. 


Package Theft Investigation

 
Detectives are also working to identify this suspect wanted for snatching a package from a home in Capitol Heights. This time the theft occurred on November 29thon Southern Avenue. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect walked up to the victim’s door and after no one answered the door, the suspect picked up the package and fled the area in the pictured car. Please call 301-390-2169 with any information on this investigation.  

Here are some suggestions to help stop these types of thieves:

*If possible, pick up the ordered item at the store

*Ship the item to your workplace

*Have a neighbor keep an eye out for the item if you know you won’t be home during the delivery window

*Have the item sent to a friend or family member who is home during normal delivery hours

*If possible, ship the item to an Amazon Locker, UPS Office, FedEx Office or Post Office

*Require a signature at the time of delivery


Search for Suspect

We’re searching for this suspect who tried to rob a business in Forestville on December 1st shortly before noon. The preliminary investigation reveals he demanded money from an employee at the business in the 6600 block of Marlboro Pike. He ultimately ran from the store without any cash. Detectives believe the same suspect also targeted a supermarket in Forestville on December 2nd. The armed suspect demanded cash from an employee. The employee complied. Anyone who may have information on this robbery that occurred at 8:15 am, please call detectives at 301-772-4905 or 1-866-411-TIPS.


Armed Robbery Investigation
Detectives are asking for the community’s assistance to identify this robbery suspect who targeted a convenience store in Temple Hills. The suspect walked in to the store on Branch Avenue on November 29th and demanded cash. Once the suspect got the money, he ran from the store. Fast Food Restaurant Robbery

These two suspects are wanted for robbing a fast food restaurant on Sargent Road back on November 30th. The preliminary investigation reveals the armed suspects jumped the counter and demanded money. Once they got cash, they ran from the business. Please call 301-772-4905 or 1-866-411-TIPS. A cash reward is being offered.

Robbery unit detectives are working to identify and arrest these two suspects wanted for robbing a convenience store in Landover Hills. This robbery took place on December 4th at about 3:00 am. You will not have to give your name and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500.
