The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances of a fatal shooting Tuesday in Temple Hills. The victim is identified as 19-year-old Davier Tucker of Fort Washington. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On September 5, 2023, at approximately 2:40 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of Brinkley Road. The victim was located outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at a hospital several hours later.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
