PGPD Investigating Fatal Crash in the City of Hyattsville

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon in Hyattsville. The deceased rider is 23-year-old Angel Aguilar of University Park.

On August 31, 2024, at approximately 3:05 pm, officers with the Hyattsville City Police Department responded to the 4300 block of East West Highway for the report of a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV. Once on scene, officers located the rider on a sidewalk. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the SUV remained on scene and was not injured. Detectives are working to determine the cause of the crash.

The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all fatal crashes in the city of Hyattsville.

PGPD Investiga Colisión Fatal en la Ciudad de Hyattsville

La Unidad de Análisis y Reconstrucción de Colisiones del Departamento de Policía del Condado Prince George’s está investigando una colisión fatal que involucró a una motocicleta el sábado por la tarde en Hyattsville. El conductor fallecido es Angel Aguilar, de 23 años, de University Park.
