The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Temple Hills. The deceased pedestrian’s name will be released once his family is located and notified.
On July 7, 2026, at approximately 8:30 pm, officers responded to the 4700 block of St. Barnabas Road for the collision. The victim died of his injuries a short time later at a hospital.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on St. Barnabas Road while attempting to cross the roadway. The driver remained on the scene and was not injured.
