Ever Barahona
Susan Hernandez
On May 6, 2014, at
about 10:50 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3300 block of Brinkley Road
for a possible shooting. They found two injured men, one suffering from
multiple stab wounds, and the other suffering from a gunshot wound to the
shoulder. Investigators have since learned the assault was
gang-related. They believe Hernandez and Barahona lured the victims
to the location, with the intention of killing them. The victims were
taken to a local hospital. Both have since recovered and been released from
the hospital.
Investigative
developments led detectives to identify Hernandez and Barahona as
suspects. They both face charges of attempted first degree murder.
