The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting in Capitol
Heights. The victim is 23-year-old Daryl Antjuan Walker of Walker Mill Road in
Capitol Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information
leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
At about 9:00 pm on May 31st, patrol officers were
called to the 800 block of Kayak Avenue for the report of a shooting. When they
arrived, officers found the victim inside of a car suffering from gunshot
wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a motive and the suspect(s).
