Homicide Unit detectives are actively searching for the suspect who shot and killed a teenager in Oxon Hill on Thursday. The victim is 17-year-old Jayquan Holloway of Southview Drive in Oxon Hill. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On March 2nd, at about 2:50 pm, officers responded to the 1400 block of Iverson Street for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim outside of an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The suspect may be driving a light-colored SUV. Detectives are working to identify the motive in this case.
