PGPD Investigating Homicide in Suitland

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Suitland. The victim is 23-year-old Kevin Givens of Upsal Street in Southeast Washington.

On April 10^th, at approximately 6:50 pm, patrol officers responded for the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Ryan Drive. When they arrived, the officers located the victim inside of the car suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are actively working to identify suspect(s) and determine a motive for this shooting.
