PGPD Investigating Homicide in Camp Springs



Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man overnight in Camp Springs. The victim is 28-year-old Rufus Clark of 23rd Parkway in Temple Hills.

On May 21st, at approximately 12:40 am, patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of Morris Avenue for the report of a man found unresponsive outside. Officers discovered the man suffering from a gunshot wound. Clark was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and determine a motive.
