PGPD Investigating Fatal Shooting in Oxon Hill

Update October 6, 2023: The second victim shot during this incident has died of his injuries. He is identified as 32-year-old DeAngelo Moore of Washington, DC. This remains an active investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives or Crime Solvers.


The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Oxon Hill overnight. The victim is 41-year-old Derrick Graham of Oxon Hill.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.   

On October 3, 2023, shortly before midnight, officers responded to the 800 block of Irvington Street for a shooting. Once on scene, they located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Graham was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The second victim’s injuries are considered life-threatening.   

Investigators are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
