The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Oxon Hill. Investigators are working to identify the deceased pedestrian, an adult male, so his family can be notified.
On April 1, 2026, at approximately 8:40 pm, officers responded to the area of St. Barnabas Road and Virginia Lane for the collision. The pedestrian died of his injuries on the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was struck by two vehicles in the eastbound lanes of St. Barnabas Road. Both drivers remained on the scene and were not injured.
