The driver involved in a crash that occurred in early June has died of his injuries. He is identified as 71-year-old Thomas Garner 3rd of Upper Marlboro.
On June 5, 2026, at approximately 12:30 pm, officers responded to the area of Croom Road and West End Farm Road in Upper Marlboro for a single-car crash. Garner, the driver and sole occupant, was transported to a hospital where he died on July 18, 2026. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
As always, investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dash camera or home surveillance footage that may have captured the incident to contact the Prince George’s County Police Department. Even if you believe your footage may not be significant, it could provide valuable information to assist investigators.
